The following is applicable to all shooting persons:
You must be in possession of a valid British Firearm/Shotgun Licence or a Visitor's Permit to satisfy the legal requirement. Please note that where possible, we will give assistance for the acquisition of a Visitor's Permit and pass on any costs incurred to the gun. Allow adequate time for this as there can be a delay of several weeks.
You will need to bring your own shotgun or in the case of stalking, a rifle with a calibre of not less than .240 inches, and it must not be the automatic or semi-automatic variety.
For stalking, and in some circumstances, we may be able to arrange for the hire of an Estate rifle.
You must have an insurance policy to cover against third party risks while shooting, for a minimum of £10,000,000.
You must be in possession of a valid Game Licence (available from Scottish Post Offices). You will need to bring your own supply of soft-nosed bullets or shotgun cartridges - 5 to 7 shot size preferable.

The Angler must be in possession of a Licence, as specified by the River Authority. Fishing is by rod and line only and the lure/bait used may be artificial flies, spinners and worms, etc. However, please note that prawn and shrimp are not permitted. Fishing is on Saturday and weekdays only.
